About LJJF

The Lebanese JiuJitsu Federation (LJJF) is the sole recognized governing body for JiuJitsu in Lebanon, acknowledged by SPORT LEBANON.

The Lebanese Jiu-Jitsu Federation (LJJF) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of Jiu-Jitsu in Lebanon. Established in 2015, the LJJF has quickly become a leading organization in the Lebanese martial arts community, with a focus on providing high-quality training and competition opportunities for its members. The LJJF is committed to upholding the highest standards of sportsmanship, fairness, and respect for its athletes and officials, and is recognized by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF). Through its various programs, including training, competitions, and seminars, the LJJF aims to foster a strong sense of community among its members and to promote the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of Jiu-Jitsu.

LJJF boasts numerous affiliated clubs and associations across the country, and the pathway to membership involves joining such a club, along with an association like Mind Body Spirit.

As the national governing body, LJJF assumes the role of promoting, overseeing, regulating, and enhancing the standards of JiuJitsu practice for students while prioritizing public safety.

When searching for a reputable JiuJitsu club and highly skilled coaches, it is recommended to consult LJJF as the primary point of reference. Our participants undergo training in a safe environment that fosters productivity, positivity, and enjoyment. Moreover, our academy and coaches are fully covered by public liability, professional indemnity, and member-to-member insurance, ensuring the protection of both students and coaches during training.

For those interested in learning Ju-Jitsu, we strongly advise training exclusively at schools that are affiliated with LJJF, the national governing body.
